Leading used-car finance provider, ALPHERA Financial Services, has strengthened its operational client support provision with the appointment of Tiffany King to the role of Internal Business Development Manager.

The newly reinstated position differs from that of a traditional business development manager by focusing more heavily on opportunities to support existing customers through a centralised service. This includes the implementation of key account processes to further enhance working relationships and the streamlining of account activities to maximise service quality and responsiveness – major priorities for Partners. Similarly to her external counterparts, King will also be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, particularly within scaling Partners.

King brings a wealth of experience to the position after working in fleet, finance and automotive retail. Working closely with the BMW Group for more than 25 years, King held roles with fleet leasing specialists Alphabet and with the wider BMW Group Financial Services, before joining a franchised BMW Retailer as a Business Manager for 12 years. King rejoined the Group early last year in a Business Support role within the ALPHERA team.

“The redefined Internal Business Development Manager role is yet another signal from ALPHERA that customer service and satisfaction is of utmost importance to the brand,” said King.

“While our external development teams are meeting customers face-to-face, we’re now strongly placed to take our services to the next level with additional on-call consultancy and support. Having worked both in-house with BMW and at a franchised Retailer, I have the benefit of both perspectives, which I believe will help to further strengthen the relationships we have with our Partners.”

“Our team is well-known industry-wide for delivering the highest standard of service for our Partners,” said Kirk Franks, Head of National Sales at ALPHERA Financial Services. “Tiffany is a great addition to our team. She’s already making a notable impact for ALPHERA, and for many of its customers. Car finance is a highly competitive market, so customer retention and developing our existing portfolio is just as important as welcoming new Partners, which Tiffany is well-positioned to do. Her approach and new ideas will help to build upon the strong foundations that we already have.”
